The smoker is in dry dock for the weekend for some much needed modifications. I was bored so I figured i would take a few pics for everyone lucky to have a smoke this weekend. I guess I will just be baking biscuits inbetween the mods. Stay tuned for more pix.

Nice lookin shop you got there! Looks like a good place to work on the equipment, let us know what mods you make!

I was planning on the usual char griller mods, nothing fancy. As you can see from the pics I have already installed a new chimney extention made from 3" flexible vent hose.

I am also planning on adding 4 rubber tires, a baffle inside the barrel and some tuning plates. I want to beef up the firebox too by adding a new grate and maybe a charcoal box.

I will be touching up a few rust spots as well, and maybe attempting to seal the lid in some way for a more airtight seal.
