Hi,
I'm choosing an electric meat grinder. My purchase deadline is 8/9/19.
I need:
1) Stainless steel for parts that come in contact with the meat (head, hopper, auger, knife, and plate)
2) metal gears
3) strong enough to grind chicken bones
4) capable of running well at 220 volts with a stepdown transformer.

I don't care about lbs per min. I'm upgrading from a manual grinder, anything is better. I thought about adding a motor but it is only a #10 and probably not worth the hassle

I am considering the Kitchener #22 Commercial Grade Electric Stainless Steel Meat Grinder but I cannot find contact info for the manufacturer. I want to confirm the steel is stainless not sintered. I thought about the LEM Big Bite but I read here that Weston has better customer service and the Weston Butcher series auger is tinned cast iron when I asked I was told "They are manufactured in a way to mitigate corrosion". No mention of being tinned.--Tinned is a no go. I don't mind buying a stainless steel part from another grinder that fits on a grinder with mostly stainless steel parts.

Has anyone tried any of these or know or another all stainless steel head grinder? I would appreciate any input.

Thanks in advance.

The #22 Kitchener would seem to meet your needs. You might be able to get a reply via email before your deadline regarding running it off a transformer through their contact/customer service. Regarding LEM, they at least have a phone number you can call. I have found them very responsive when I was looking for a grinder and a vacuum sealer. https://greatcircleus.com/collectio...-grade-stainless-steel-electric-meat-grinders

Unfortunately, the knife on the Cabela's Carnivore Commercial-Grade 1hp Grinder is
sintered. Which leads me to ask "Sintered with what?"

If the OP does some research and sintered is not desired, after market blades and plates are available. Here is one manufacturer; don't know what specific brand grinders they make knives and plates for but I am sure they provide some sort of help. I have sent an inquiry to them regarding LEM and Carnivore grinders. I will update when I get a response.
