Hello everyone, my name is Don. I live in central MN I just started smoking this year but have been cooking a BBQn' for over 10 years. I am a new web designer who just finnished school and now have more time to spend cooking and smoking, I have always been a cook and always enjoyed it. I am an avid bowhunter and as of last year I have wanted to start smoking and processing all of my own venison, it just cost too much to pay someone to process and smoke my venison every year! For fathers day I got a offset smoker and absolutely love it, I must have over 200 hours on it already and many good meals. As of now I am just learning the smoking techniques and want to learn more. As of now I am in the process of building a small smoke house for the larger batches of snack stick, summer sausage, and more. I can only fit 10 pounds of sticks or sausage on my offset which is why I want a vertical smoker for hanging the sticks and sausage. I already made a post in the general discussion but wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone here! Glad to me a member and have already learned many things from all of you! Thanks!
