Hi All,

So I'm Jay - known by my friends as "Cave" (as in man) - I do enjoy a bbq and after I spent reasonable amounts of cash on my garden (and many hours of back breaking work) - I thought

"I'm going to reward myself with something awesome" and immediately bbq jumped into my head.

I'm from "Sunny London" (England) and whils't we might not get much in the way of good weather round these parts - I refuse to let a bit of rain stop me.

I've just purchased a Landmann Tennessee horizontal smoker (having done so before joining here and reading the bad reviews lol). and plan to be smoking some meat by next weekend!!!

Welcome brother from across the pond! This forum is loaded with great people and great information! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about smoking!

what is going to be the first thing you cook up?

i've been salivating over the thought of some chuck ribs ... big ol' pieces of beef on the bone!

I am actually taking monday off work so i can get a few test runs in on the weekend!
