Hello. I am new to the forum so here it goes. I have been smoking for 8 years give or take. I started with a small charcoal model then a upright gas which was used to the point it fell apart around the burner. I built 2 new smokers last fall, one to use for my weekend briskett / pork loin / chicken / turkey...The other one is made for lage amounts of deer / beef. The small one is built out of a 1950's GM refridgerator with a gas burner and several removable 14"X24" racks. The large one is purpose built 4'x4'x4' with dual gas burners. I live in North East Iowa and smoke year round for my wife and 2 sons.
