I am getting ready to purchase a smoker and was looking at this one from Home Depot. Is this a good entry level smoker to get? I won't ever be smoking massive amounts of meat, so I do not need one that is huge. Mainly interest in ease of use and quality of product. Thanks in advance for the responses.

Brinkmann Vertical Gas Smoker
Model # 810-5530-S

Price = $149.00

Welcome to SMF...

I see you are new here, be sure to stop in roll call and introduce yourself and tell us a little about you and your experience & equipment... That way everyone can give you a proper welcome...

I would check out the GOSM Wide Body from Bass Pro for #199.99 if I were you, it is 24' wide instead of only 16" which will make a big difference when smoking things like slabs of ribs, in the narrower unit you will need to cut them in half for them to fit...
