Greeatings. I live in Michigan, Flint area. I just bought my weber smokey mountain 18.5" and am very excited to start using it. I'm fairly proficient with the charcoal grill so I think this should go well for me. I'm mostly interested in smoking pork, poultry, and fish, but I might get into brisket and other things as well. Not sure yet! I make pretty mean pulled pork so I'm thinking that doing it on a smoker will really take it to the next level.

Welcome aboard!  Glad you've joined our group.  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  You'll find there are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Congrats on that new WSM...those are nice rigs!  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Haha, sounds good PG. I'll try to remember that! I'm smoking tomorrow all day, so I'll make sure to snap a few pics. My wife is going to the farm to get meat as we speak.

One question, is there a good mobile app for this site?

When you bring up the site on a mobile device, there's a button at the bottom to switch between mobile and desktop. Welcome aboard. Always more room for another WSM!
