Got a MES30 for Christmas. I took the time to season it according to the instructions today. Now I just have to smoke something. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to smoke the first time out? Just wondering if it is best to smoke some easy things first or just jump in with both feet out of the gate.

Welcome to the forum!

Glad to have you aboard!

I always suggest chicken for a first smoke.

It's cheap & pretty easy to smoke.

Leg quarters are about as easy as it gets.

But here are some recipes for you to look at, and maybe get some ideas from.

Good luck!
