Super jacked right now! My new MES 30 just showed up today and my AMNPS came yesterday and i'm chomping at the bit to get it fired up.

I already cooked off the factory grease off the AMNPS but how should i season the new MES?

Thanks!

Read the instructions that came with it. I think is a 2 or 3 hour burn out.

Your going to love both the AMNPS and the mes 30. Just take the time to learn your equipment.

Happy smoken

Thanks, I did read the manual but ive discovered after spending some time here. That there is the manuals way of doing things and the right way of doing things :)

Congrats on your MBES 30"!

I just got mine a little less than a month ago.  And when I read the instructions, it said to season it for the last 45 minutes of the burn-in phase to add wood chips to the smoking tray.   I added about two loads full and let it smoke for a little over an hour extending my burn-in time by about 30 minutes, but it worked out perfectly.

Just remember to use to water bowl in your smoker :D

Happy Smokin to ya!

Well the MES30 manual I recieved with mine left a WHOLE lot to be desired. I finally figured did want a decent smoker or a book to read.

Congrats on your smoker, guessing you'll love it.

Nice to meet you and Welcome to my addiction
