Just got my first smoker for Christmas and can't wait to fire it up and smoke something. Just need some good ideas. Thinking about doing a whole chicken and chicken legs this weekend. Any good recipes out there?

Glad you joined us jpuff, :welcome1: from North Dakota!
Chicken or pork butt for pulled pork are both good choices for a first cook and seasoning up a smoker. Look forward to seeing your first cook!

Welcome to the group!  Congrats on that new smoker!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.
