Hello all. gotta say great forum with tons of helpful information.

I'm mike from new jersey. I'm smoking with a horizontal offset firebox. Ive used a charbroil in the past. Just moved up to a bigger better model. Ive smoked a brisket and two butts so far. For new years I will be doing a 20lb ham and a 17 lbs turkey. Ive been reading the post here for tips. Its my first turkey and the biggest piece of pork I've done. It may take a day or two but ill get the qview. I'm not sure about the times but I'm cooking early so I should be OK. open to hearing all your thoughts
Thanks to everyone who makes this site what it is!!!!

A belated welcome to the site Mike.
Always good to have another smoker from Jersey join the site.
Before long there may be 10 or 11 of us, then we will be a strong enough force to take over the world of smoking
