I want to turn my charcoal smoker into a propane one. Should I place the wood chips in foil or just soak them and place them in the charcoal pan.

Ken "texas-hunter " nabbed it in the smoke , why converting and what model are you wishing to do this with....coal/stick burner , horizonty , or verticle challenged , side fire boxed or not ? And welcome to SMF not that i have that authority but yeah , come get some smoke knowledge it dont hurt at all
