hello everyone im new to the forum I am planning to smoke  a 20lb turkey since that's the size I ended up with . any tips on desired temp to cook at and expected cook times.

Welcome from SC. It's good to have you on this great site. I would smoke your 20# at 275-325* and it should take around 8 hours. The main thing is the IT. The breast should go to 160* and the thigh to 170*. If you need to cut some time or if you want a slightly different texture, try spatchcocking your bird. It will cook quicker and more evenly. Good luck, Joe
