New guy from Oklahoma

New guy here checking in from Poteau, Ok. Just got my first smoker an Oklahoma Joes Longhorn. In the middle of seasoning it right now and then planning to do a few dry runs before throwing some baby backs on later this week.

Welcome aboard, FlightMedic, from one Oklahoman to another!  Glad you joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastime...Smoking and Grilling great food!  There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Just ask when you need help and you'll get plenty. 

BTW, I lived in Poteau myself for nearly 10 years.
