I'm from south Mississippi and began seriously smoking about two years ago with the purchase of an Oklahoma Joe.  Prior to that, I spent a couple of years with an 18" Webber Smokey Mountain without much sucess.  It would do pork butts well but I couldn't cook a rib to save my life.  The WSM is now in the weeds and the OK Joe is the star of the show after a few mods I'll share on a new thread.  I smoke every weekend during the summer and recently had the pleasure of turning a pork butt into a ham.  Looking forward to learning more and sharing the little bit I have learned over the last couple of years.

Welcome to the group!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
