Isn't there some kind of food safety warnings about smoking meat that's been left out for lord who knows how long?

... and they let you keep your leg when it gets cut off?????? Who Knew.

Living in the southern USA for 20 years now, I am not surprised at what folks in this part of the country call food.

The leg I would guess was just too much for the folks at the gathering to consume and was just left in the BBQ.

What I'd like to know is"why in the hell did he keep it in the smoker to beging with". If he had to keep it for religous reasons don't you think he would of put it in a differant place. And I also didn't think they would just GIVE you your cut off leg. Hey Debi I looked all over your time charts for "Leg-o-man" but couldn't find anything, whatz up with that?

I just can't get around the fact that it had to be stinkin'... just sounds a little urban myth to me...
