We have a no tax weekend here.

I was browsing Walmart the other day and saw a Toshiba 17 1/2" laptop for $399.00. I thought I was seeing things.

So I waited till today because of the no tax day.

It is very similar to what I have now and Carol wanted her own, so I got it for her and have been updating it all night.

I love mine and paid almost 700 dollars. And the guy at Sam's said Toshiba is the worlds largest computer maker in the world, I didn't know that.

It is a hell of a deal and with no tax and a 2 year additional warrantee $459 is great.

I hope someone takes advantage of this. Note, not all stores carry the 17 1/2'.

Great deal. They got rid of our tax free deal a bit back, here in the peoples republic of maryland.Have to go to deleware for those deals....

You got a good deal Ron, I have 2 Satellite P25-S670 17 inch models and they are great.

Looks like you got a great deal! Our tax free weekend in TX doesn't cover electronics

Looks like a good deal if it's got anything included for software with it.

Iowa has a tax free holiday weekend coming up this weekend. But it mostly is for clothing. Suposedly it's to help parents get the kids new school clothes before the school year begins. I don't think electronics are included. Heck there was a news story about it last night and they were saying things like sporting goods stuff that kids might need weren't included. Sneakers are included but not basketball shoes for instance. Weird.
