  1. Stopped by Walmart (North side of Lebanon, Ohio) last night on my way home, I am not normally this far south.  I had a gut feeling something special was in store. I now have 6 briskets in the freezer.  Manager special, 1.38 per pound, I left 4 in the case.  I also picked up a few (4) slabs, of pork spare ribs full bone, dirt cheap, for this weekend, and a couple of picnics to have for company, about the same price I normally pay.  I guess I need to carry a cooler with me so, I can really stock up, luckily the spare ribs where frozen so I used them to keep everything else cold for my hour trip on home.

And to think, I originally went in there looking for a good cut for some jerky.

Here's the store info in case you don't want to drive unless they still have a few in the case.

    Too late,

I went there, and they said some guy from Dayton came in with a wheel barrow, and cleaned them all out!

    Great score Jake !

I never heard of Brisket for $1.38 !!!
