Found some shrooms today, any suggestions on a recipe with Morells?
Fishhead, I love morels in stuffings...
I've used it in venison canadian bacon..
Added with venison sausage to stuff pork CB...
Also added to dove sausage as stuffing
I've tried cooking the morels first in butter and also adding them raw. It didn't seem to make a big difference. They were tasty either way.
Should be great in a fattie..the sausage will keep them nice and moist!
Nice find there! Go with Cowgirl's recommendation and put them in a fattie~ they'll go further that way.

Down at Red Rock, sent you a pm about it. Its just starting with the greys and a few yellows, a couiple of weeks and it will meat hunting shrooms.
