Hi,
I'm about to start my 1st smoker build . It will be an insulated vertical smoker based on a LoneStar Grillz. My metal guy (not a smoker) is questioning using 11 guage for both the inner and outter skin. He thinks that 11 guage for the inner and the insulation will be plenty, and that having the outter skin also 11 guage will be unnecessary weight and money, and to go thinner for the outter skin. I'm no expert, and am only going by what others have done. Is their a need for that heavy guage outter skin, or am I ok going thinner?
Thanks,
Chris
