those a re poblano peppers, the jalapenos @ the market yesterday just didnt look good.

especially being tree level. Had a couple deer run through the yard while I was smoking as well. It was a partly sunny day, and about 80 degrees, perfect smoking weather.

a pic of the baked beans I did as well.

basic recipe: campbells pork and beans, 5 pieces diced cooked bacon and grease, pickle relish, raw onion, black pepper, brown sugar, open pit bbq sauce, smoked garlic cloves, smoked trimmings from the spares.

thanks I was trying to get out work, here is a pic of them after the time on the smoker, the other oic was about halfway through:



the added smoked trimmings from the spares really added some flavor, along witht the bacon.

My deck is 20 feet up as my house is built into the side of a hill. One story looking house in front, 3 stories in back.
