Smoked up a meatloaf tonight along with bacon-tater bombs. Also, since it is Halloween, I threw a head of garlic in there for an appetizer so the missus and I could keep the vampires away.
The meatloaf was darn good. I used a mix of hickory and apple. Took about 3 hours to get to 155 deg. Next time though I will put some bbq sauce on top towards the end of its time in. The bacon-tater bombs were in there for about and hour and a half but could have used more time. Pretty tasty anyways.
Qview as follows.

Ready to go.

That is a great looking smoke. Nice idea with the taters. Gotta try that one

Man some smoked meatloaf is really good and I'm glad I did one about a month ago. If you haven't done one yet then get up and go make one tonight you won't be disappointed.

I'm going to have to do a smoked meatloaf. I currently do a rooled meatloaf that is stuffed with swiss cheese and sauteed mushrooms and onions that is awesome. I've just never smoked one. Now that I have a basket.....

I made two of these last night. http://fooddownunder.com/cgi-bin/recipe.cgi?r=116625

My wife, who is not a meatloaf person, loved it. Three eggs instead of two, bacon on only one of them. Ground Pork instead of sausage. The oatmeal came out better than breadcrumbs. No ketchup or sauce on top. Sorry, no Qview.

When I had some on my dinnerplate I tried some Sweet Baby Rays Honey Chipolte. Too sweet. So I left it there and pured a new blob of A-1 Sauce. Still not quite right. Mixed the two sauces together, perfect.

Back to this thread....great looking Q. Don't you just love those nonstick pans? I bought the flat one but I think I'll go get one like yours. In Michigan, Meijer's sells them. $6.99.
