Maybe Things Are Turning Around?

Some of you may remember we sold our house back in October 2007. Well in October 2008 they backed out 2 days before Carol was going to show a buyer she met at a home party , that wanted their house and was was pre approved and did 2 drive bys and looked at it on the internet.

So we filed a lawsuit since our home lost it's value and after a year they backed out.

We bent backwordws to make the deal including offering them the option of taking a 35,000 hit, and they refused.

Anyway their attorney filed a summary judgement and today was court day.

SUMMARY JUDGEMENT - A decision made on the basis of statements and evidence presented for the record without a trial. It is used when there is no dispute as to the facts of the case, and one party is entitled to judgement as a matter of law.

The judge ruled in our favor and we will be going to court for a trial. All we want is to do is move and start a new life including a BBQ business and I have a Cook Shack Smoker waiting for me for free.


The buyers were really pissed as was their attorney.

Carol just laughed and has been all day and night.

So, maybe things are turning around.

I also got my laptop problem fixed and got a new one today.

I am getting a new Maverick therm et7 I think since I sent it in last week for repair, and am working with an MES engineer with some issues I have.

As you can see I have been dealing with a lot of things at once and they seem to be coming together. Not to mention my back problem.

Not looking for sympathy at all, just venting I guess.
