I've been going through withdraw the last month and dooling at what I've seen on the site. My wife gave birth to our first on Wednesday which has meant I haven't been able to know I had time to run the smoker. Mom and baby came home healthy on Friday and we kicked off the smoking yesterday with 2 pork shoulders and are going to do about 8 lbs of chicken wings and thighs today. We also just got a food saver, so I'm planning on doing a lot of smoking, as I'm off all week and vacuum pack and freeze for after I'm back to work. It's a win-win in my book.

I think we are going to try to get in a brisket and some beef ribs this week as well.

Congrats daddy!!

Thanks to all. We had a beautiful baby girl. 10 fingers and 10 toes and healthy, so I got all I wanted. I've had probably my first of many days that didn't go as planned. I got 4 lbs of wings on at 4:30, the 4 lbs of thighs didn't make it today and I never got to the butcher shop. Looks like thighs tomorow and ribs and brisket Wednesday or Thursday.

I'll look at the stickey on the new picture posting and get a baby picture up today.

Glad you finally got to smoke ole man but getting out of you what the kid was - was like pulling teeth! You'll be having plenty of all nighters now! Congrats on that sweet blessing from God and enjoy dinner!

BTW - he chicken looks good too!
