I finally decided to post this recipe, so if you try it let me know what you think. These beans are at every family function we have. 2 tsp. butter 1 lb. ground beef or sausage 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix 2 1lb. can of Van Camp's Pork n Beans 1 1lb can of kidney beans 1 cup of catsup 1/2 cup water 2 tsp. mustard 1 unpacked cup of brown sugar 1 tsp. vinegar brown meet and drain, stir in all other ingredents. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes. or place under smokin pork for about 2 hours. I have found that maple wood gives these beans an awesome flavor.
