In honor of SmokeyOkie's Lucille christening, I fired up the smoker Saturday AND Sunday...

Saturday was a brisket cooked Okie style and a Boston butt cooked for pullin'. Sunday was an unscheduled event, I did a shoulder after my gut told me that I may not have enough pulled pork for the luncheon at work on Monday. Thank you gut.

All went well, the CG performed flawlessly, and I must say, so did I...

The brisket came out juicy, tender and flavorful... Okie's method is tops in my book! The pork was a HUGE hit at work, I think I got a private cooking event to do for one of my co-workers - complete with $$$, plus i got a marriage proposal... had to turn that one down, however tempting, 'cause that would just piss off the misses.

Anyway, a good smokin' weekend, but no fatty s or ABT s this time. Here's a few shots of the "during" process... sorry there's no finished products shots. Too many grandkids wanting to help Pop-Pop and too many hungry folks to wait while I fumble with a decrepid camera...
