I had a couple friends over and they wanted to try my smoked meats. Here's some shots:

A couple of butts just under 10 pounds each.

I decided to send them home with breakfast fatties.

So we ended up with pulled pork, fatties, 2 whole chickens split in half and a side of ribs. Sorry, no shots of the ribs or chicken. Well, at least not when I walked in from the smoker. Ribs were nearly gone and the chicken was also nearly gone by time I got inside.

Everything went well and everyone loved the meat. I used orange logs for the fuel. Flavor was wonderful.

I even got a present from the wife:

Sorry for not having the ribs or chicken pics. We were having problem with our camera. I kept thinking it was working but apparently wasn't. The camera has since been replaced.

Thanks for looking,

WC

Good job it all looks good. So you have a new Lang and a new camera, damn some guys have all the luck! haha

Looks great man - what a great day and a neat apron too

Thanks guys for the comments. I would like to see a little more Raymo's posts on his Lang!

Did you see the smoke in this shot? I had the lid open for at least 3-4 minutes while we wrapped the meat and the wife got a pic. The smoker continued to hold the heat when I shut the lid. The recovery time was extremely quick for the amount of time I had the lid open. The picture below shows that even after a couple of minutes with the lid open, the TBS is all still flowing throughout the chamber. The smoke just keeps swimming toward the stack even with the lid popped open.

Again, thanks for the comments.
