I've cooked with both, and really like both. I don't think the Wagyu is any better than the Prime Sterling Silvers. Both will give you an equally excellent product...so save your money.

Yep, I never buy into the hype of products because of a name...I go by taste/texture/quality. For example, I love a good Berkshire pig because the taste and fattiness of the meat is great compared to commercially raised lean pork...I will pay twice as much for it on some occasions. The "wagyu" (whatever that means) is great meat (at least from SRF), but no better than the sterlings at a lesser price.

Over the past few years I've joined the "locavore movement" and I would much rather find a locally sourced, grassfed (tougher but much "beefier" tasing...and low and slow makes anything tender) beef, or a nice Berkshire raised by my farmer buddy. Just my preference though.

well i dont have a weekend off. until the last weekend of sept. I think am gonna have 1 of each streling silver prime and a snake farms and see the difference my self . just so i will for sure know
