I quit carrying anything bigger (I have anything from 1911 size down) than I can pocket carry. Ruger LC9S in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster is my go to.

Yeah I carried 1 of my hog leg 45 colts a couple weeks ago while hiking. I forget just how heavy a 6 six shooter can get when walking for miles.
