Deb, here are OUR country style ribs we find in Florida. Looking forward to trying them in the smoker fooling some of the guidelines from some of the forum members.

With Labor Day coming up, the bargins are out there.

My take for the days shopping.....

Chicken 10lbs of Leg quarters $4.90

    Beef Ribs 9.07 lbs $7.98

Pork Country Ribs 9.28 lbs $10.68

Two 2 packs of Pork Spare Ribs 11.40 lbs $38.35

    Boston Butt 8.24 lbs $8.16

Total of $70.07 Looks like that smoker will be cranking for awhile [IMG]

SWEET! I paid over 15$ for a 9 pound butt just last week. I gotta hit the stores!

After you smoke all that, you should drive that hot car up here and share with us!

OK, here is an enlargement of my Avatar photo.

    69 350 SS kicks around 375 HP
    Corvette aluminum transmission
4 speed Muncie close ratio shifter with anti reverse
    Roller Rockers
    4 bolt main
    Edlebrock/Holley 650 spreadbore
    3.58 geared rear end

I wanted it to get some sort of gas mileage, so didn't get to radical on the rear end.

WHOA! Flash I'd have to work for a week to pay for that meat up here! Butts are up to $2.39/lb right now and that's about the cheapest reddish meat. Did get a 10/lb bag of thigh quarters for $10.99 tonight.

Flash you know that avatar is my dream car don't you? I get all shivery everytime I look at it. I'll take anything from a 67 to a 69 Chevy Camaro, or Pontiac Firebird. Preferably 4 on the floor, and convertible but beggers can't be choosers!

Well, I am comtemplating selling the camaro someday.....want to get on the list ot those interested? [IMG] I have owned since 1978. With no AC in it, it doesn't see alot of use during this time of year especially. When I lived in Orlando, it stayed off the road during the holdiays too. Two days before Thanksgiving till January 2nd i parked it also. Too many nitwits and lost tourist. Why take a chance. It does need a wet sand and buff though. Hard to part with the toys though.
