i spent 15 or so minutes writing a new thread--
when i try to post--
it sends me to sign in section---

im already signed in----
then it loses everything----

does this new forum do this to anyone else???

also when ever i search for something...

it shows me the days posts---
not--repeat not anything close to the search subject

whats the deal????
Haven't had any problem with posts. When doing a search I think it only shows the days posts and you have to drop to the bottom and adjust for additional days or months of threads.
Larry, same thing has happened to me , I figure I type to slow ( approx 1.5 words/min ) when I go to post, I have to log in again....but my post still shows up ?? most times ...and yes I have lost some also ??
To those of you having trouble... have you clicked the box that says "remember me" when you sign in?

It sounds like it may be a problem with the cookies... there are no setting within this forum that govern how long a cookie remains active (as far as I know) however there may be something on certain browsers that do that.. not really sure.

If there are any vBulletin gurus out there.. please feel free to correct and/or enlighten me.

If you are experiencing this logoff issue, can you tell me what browser you are using, what version of windows, etc to help me nail down this problem?

Thanks for helping me with this...

I will be looking at other forums and see if there are similar problems and how to correct it if possible.
I haven't lost my posts since the update but when I type to slow I do have to re-login. I haven't checked the remember me thing though so I expect that to happen. is reader supported and as an Amazon Associate, we may earn commissions from qualifying purchases.
