I had the same problem two weeks ago and let Srmonty know, I think Jeff had to finally fix it somehow for me.

BigAL.. I just made a couple of changes to your profile on the admin side. Hopefully this will fix the problem with chat.

Let me know if it does not and I will take another look at it.
