Hello everyone, glad to be a part of the group.

I have smoked meat a few times in the past on a propane smoker but received a Bradley 4-rack electric smoker for Christmas. So my smoking plans have just gone to a new level.

I am a retired IT Professional and I am a Pastor at a local Presbyterian church. I also do video marketing and training screencasts.

I have a lovely wife who gave me the smoker. Since there is only the two of us and we eat mostly fish, some poultry, and not much beef. But my smoking plans will include smoking all of the above. I will have a two or three smoking days a month and then divide the smoked fish. poultry, and pork and beef into individual meals servings and vacuum seal them with a food saver for future meals. At least that is my plan now. We are moving from regular meats products from traditional grocery store to organic products purchased at a Whole Food Market.

Looking forward to the future interaction with you all in the forum.

Happy New Year to everyone,

Mick

Pgafinch,
Welcome, from southern Ohio, to the best forum on the internet if you are looking to learn how to BBQ/smoke/brine/cure/inject. Well you get the picture if you can do it to something you put on a plate to eat then someone here has probably done it then smoked it.

Use the search bar at the top of the page and you will be led to the answer to most every question you can think of. If you don't find the answer there then just post it and someone will chime in with their opinion on the subject.

Always remember the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask!!
GO BUCKS!!
Keep Smokin!!!
