Found out tonight at the annual home owners assn. meeting the neighbors who bought the home up on the hill at the end of the street last year are second generation competition meat smokers! Good ones too. They frequently place well. Have 4 smokers, two on trailers.
We are going to do a neighborhood block party in Sept. and smoke up some meat for the 'hood. When it happens will post porn and a report.
Will also be doing some brain picking.

It will be nice to have some one else close by that is in to the smoke.I have a few guys with in a couple miles and when the one went by the other day and saw the new rig burnin he stopped and visited for quite a while.It was nice to have some one around who has more experience and regularlly smokes.

Sometimes it's nice to have neighbors.. just not very often. BTW.. is brain ripe that time of year or do you pick em early and let them ripen in the window?

I'd love to have a trailer smoker. That way when I pull into the stadium parking lot for the tailgate party everyone knows I mean business. Kinda like Tim on Home Improvement!
