In the mid 70's I was a snot nosed teen, and there was a family friend who brought back a 12 of Coors to Michigan and gave it to me...with Mom's permission, of course. Coors was made famous by the "Smokey and the Bandit" movie, and no where in MI could you get it. I drank one, and proceeded to make the best deal of my life: I got a CASE of Michelob, and a pint of Jack for the rest of it.
No good will come of this. The giants (BudMillOors) will always try to squash the far tastier craft-brews. The craft brew explosion or renaissance in this country has the mass produced swill manufacturers running scared. Money talks and I'm afraid they'll start gobbling up some of the lesser known but far better breweries. Down with swill!!!
