ok ... fire finally got goin good ... and got a little smoke flowing so i started to fill the grill up ... ya know ... its amazing how small they look once you got a couple of things on there ... got no room now for those little fattys ... but might can squeeze em on later on in the day ...

Looks like it's time to start talking to the bookkeeper about a larger toy, or maybe another one so that one isn't so lonely. Good luck with your smoke.

luckally i am the book keeper .. hah ... but looks like i may need to divert some money from the 'toolbox for the truck' fund .. over to the 'emergency grill fund' ... without the wife getting to suspicious ...

Ahhh, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only "funding" manipulator here...

ya gotta tweak it sometimes to get what you need!

speaking of that .. time to go check on it and add some more wood and water...

i think there needs to be a fund setup ... ya know ... for the 'help a smoker in need' fund .. not to stop smokin tho .. but to promote smoking! ...

still not enough room to squeeze the fattys on there... :(

With it being an offset ,maybe you could put the water pan under the grid right next to the side fire box opening. You could then fit 4 or 5 fatties right in that corner. Just my $0.02 worth. Happy Smoking and good luck.

Check out the BDS. Great piece of equipment! Utramag convinced me sight unseen. Have done only one smoke with it so far (been out of town), but the ribs were the best I've ever done. No foil, full spare rack for 5 hrs.

moving the pan down made em fit .. yay! ... now to figure out why my camera quit working =P ... might have to find the other one if this one doesn't come back on lol ..

i am prob going to see about home made ... i can't weld at all .. but i think i can get some of my cousins to .. for a few beers and such ...

right now trying to figure out how to make a covered area ... with the smokers at the edge of it ... so i aint stuck in the sun all the time...

i ended up using some Mechanix gloves that i have for hot motors .. worked fine ...

my little camera messed up on me so had to pull the big one out ... here is another shot ... looking fair ...

now they are wrapped up in foil for a bit ... while the rest is going ... soon will be wrapping the beef up in foil and let it sit out there a bit more ...

Doh! ... something i just realized i didn't do ... so looks like i got some fun ahead of me tomorrow for sure ...

didnt line the bottom of the grill with foil .. now it is soaked in the drippings ...

guess its time to clean the thing up real good and do some repairs to it ...

the meats turning out good tho =)
