I was at work on the jobsite today(I lay storm, sewer, and water pipe) when we had to make a clearing for a storm drain near a creek. In the fenceline there stood to 8" Dia. Wild cherry Trees about 18 ft. tall. Boss said get rid of it and I did cut it up and in the back of my truck it went...

This is a great source of wood. Developers have to pay money to have companys dispose of trees cleared. And it is not cheap. If you can get in with a good developer, the supply of wood can be endless... just a thought for all of you.

Dang it, I think you ought to feel guilty? I just can't figure out how you can make that up to all of us??

Getting wood, laying pipe, finding cherry.......... you had me lost for a bit, my mind was elsewhere. I am with you now, great deal !!!

I have got to get me some cherry wood and try it for sure. We have plenty of oak, hickory, pecan, and mesquite. I'm probably the only hard headed Texan who does not smoke with mesquite wood Lol.

Hmm, 8" dia and 18' tall, by my calculations that should last you about a
month
