Just thought I'd touch base and say howdy. it's been a crazy couple of weeks. what with our first granddaughter being born and a couple days later my best friend died suddenly. I just haven't had the time or the heart to bother with chats , forums and pretty much anything else. but I'm getting outa my funk and life is going on, I'm going to see THE BOSS tomorrow night, had my tickets since the day they went on sale. the weather is warming up, and spring is in the air. now all I need is for the stores to start stocking some bags of lump and I'll be back into smokin'

anyway, just wanted to say HI, there are alota nice folks in here who may have noticed I hadn't been around latley

Congratulations and sympathies all at the same time Don. Life can be so happy and so sad all at the same time. It doesn't really help, but the life cycle is complete , we give one to receive one.

Like you said, spring is coming and we move on, always remembering those we have lost and try to enjoy the things we used to share.

Now you've got a granddaughter to spoil and teach! They are great fun!
