I am trying to do turkey legs on the smoker and cant get temp above 200 what am i doing wrong?
Meat temp or smoker temp. What are you using etc.?
Smoker temp. I have a upright gas smoker

What kind of vertical gas smoker? I'm guessing you've tried turning up the heat all the way??
Are you getting lots of wind? if so, get something to block it.
Is your burner going ok? if not, i would reattach your regulator to your tank and try again. I'd guess something up with your burner
Did you calibrate your thermos? Are they accurate?
I have a new gosm, and the thermo on the door is off by like 40* below, other wise thy adjusting your vent.
