Hello Smokers!

Hello Smokers! My name is Keith, but everybody calls me Boudreaux(123). I'm originally from New Orleans but now I live in Greenbrier, Tn. I'm pretty new to this smoking thing and hope to catch on as I see most everybody on this forum has. About a year and a half ago I bought a Char Griller BBQ grill with a side fire box. I've never had the time to get used to keeping a steady temperature in it due to the fact that I travel a lot driving a tour bus. When I'm working I'm gone for weeks and maybe months at a time so I don't get to smoke and grill as much as I'm going to, hopefully in the future. So I went and bought a Masterbuilt electric smoker. Hopefully I can tweek some technique into my smoking skills whereas when I do want to use my other smoker I'll half way know what I'm doing.

  Looking forward to meeting and talking to you guys in the future.

First off welcome to SMF there Boudreaux. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
