Hello from SoCal

Hey everyone.  I've been lurking around here for the last several weeks and thought I'd sign up and introduce myself.  My name is Mike and I live in Los Angeles.  I purchased my first charcoal  BBQ, a 26.75" Weber kettle, a couple of months ago .  I bought it so I could grill and try my hand at smoking.  So far I've used it more for smoking than I have for grilling. 

  I plan on doing some PP within the next month or so and already have my eyes on a WSM.  Anyway, besides this thing of ours, I enjoy watching football and smoking cigars.  Thanks for having me.

First off Welcome Mike to SMF.  You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.
