Hello from Northern California.
Avid Fisherman and sometime hunter. Love to smoke when I can. Currently have a Big Chief Top Loader that I use mostly for smoking fish. I have a Char-Broil Bandera Smoker that I use for meats. Also have a portable rotisserie that my dad and I use mostly for whole hogs., But have done an occasional goat. I am looking into building a large gas fired smoker in the near future.
Great site looking at pulling up a chair and taking part in some outstanding conversations.

First off welcome Robert to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.

Let me give this a try here is a bacon Explosion i made this last fall
Started with the bacon Weave.

Next up was the Sausage patty and the bacon crumbles.

The Sausage log is formed

The Sausage Roll being wrapped.

Wrap complete and ready fro the smoker

Smoking done , put it on the BBQ to get teh bacon to crisp up a little

Fresh off the Heat.

Served up and ready to eat, sorry a yoke broke. :)
