My name is Kevin, I'm a butcher by trade, not really new to smoking meats, but whenever i googled a question about it ,it seems this site always has an answer, so I decided to join. Hope I can be some help to some people and hope some can help me. Lately I've been venturing into dry cured smoked meats, I do bacon and pork loin, Canadian bacon, and recently, maple honey dry cured and smoked ham, delicious BTW. Have any questions, ask, I do all the time!! Thanks for letting me join, looking forward to some great conversations!!

Hi Kevin and welcome to the group!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.

Welcome Kevin I was in your area (Dupont) today and will be tomorrow. I am very new to smoking but don't have a smoker yet looking to get Weber. I will be asking questions.
