Howdy, Old Time Smoker here, but new to this forum. Ive lurked around for quite awhile and have picked up quite a bit of useful info and tips. Born and bred in Ga but spent several years in Tx in the early 70s thru early 80's. Just returned home from a 2 year job in Arkansas. Looking forward to meeting all you nice folks! Oh yea ........... currently cooking on a 'modified' Master Forge vertical propane rig and recently picked up a used 30" analog MES. Got them both going as of about 7 this morning. Cooking for our Church Christmas lunch after Service tomorrow. Brisket, Turkey breast and 2 whole chickens. Knocked out the ribs and boston butt yesterday!

Welcome to the forums Ed!  You've found the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input here, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
