Hi from the great NW -

I have been smokin for many years but, always from late spring to early fall.  This past Thanksgiving my sons asked me to smoke a turkey.  After starting early in the morning my 12 lb bird was still in the smoker 11 hours later.  Luckily my wife decided to cook a traditional bird in the oven.

It was very cool and breezy, my smoke vault struggled to keep the temperature above 170.  I decided this has to change so I started looking for an affordable double wall smoker.  After many months looking I just purchased a Smokin it 3 - Thanks Sarge!  It will arrive tomorrow.

Now I start my new journey to learn as much as I can and I found this forum.  This is a great place to share and learn I hope I can contribute some.

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those "pesky little rules" before plunging into the forums. This just tells you what is allowed and what is a "no-no".
