Someone is selling these locally. I've never seen a cold smoke generator like this before. Curious to know if it's this person's own design or based off something else:

Wouldn't use galvanized for anything to do with food.

I don't think it's glanvanized. Looks like black iron pipe to me. Cast iron should be fine.
