Happy New Year to each of you . I look forward to each new year with new cooking ideals and more drag racing and college football . I have learned a lot from this place for a long time as I was a reader long before I became a poster for sure . We got DSL ( ATT ) at the house now so it is very easy to load pictures and post . Thanks to SMF for Qview and the 5 Day eCourse , ECB s and smoking tips .

Is it just me, but WTF does a ball dropping in Times Square have to do with the New Year? I don't get the whole ball drop thing, and you sure as heck wouldn't catch me in that crowd either.

Nothing in our eyes . Us ~ we just want blue smoke flowing and cold beverages in the cooler with some ABT s for snacking . Watching the moon set .

Happy New Year to all - Glad I am not anywhere near Times Square. I heard one of the newscasters in NY saying it will be near 20 tonite and that it is really hard to find a bathroom on NYE. Guess I am just too old for fun anymore - give me a cocktail and a warm house
