Has anyone smoked a ham? Not a fresh one but one like a Smithfield, Dearborn or something like that. Any suggestions.
Thanks

Oh yes, it adds lots of flavor to it! Just smoke until you achieve a nice smoked color and it's heated through! you can add rub or spritz or anything you want, did one once covered in pinapple slices and cherries and cloves, those were just as good as the ham with all the smoked flavor!

I've done a few so far. It is now my favorite way to cook a cured ham. I didn't do a rub or spritz it and it still turned out to be the best flavored ham I had ever cooked.
