I've got Wing Fever! And the only treatment is MORE WINGS!
I did a search of things to put on the wings and decide to try Bama's recipe. Here are the main players, assembled just moments before show time
That bottle says, "Laissez les bon temps rouler." I guar-an-tee it!
While those fellers became well acquainted, I trimmed up two dozen meaty Sanderson Farms chicken wings and dusted them with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper
I heated the grill to 250 and loaded it up with wingage.
I let them cook for 5 or 6 minutes, then turned 'em and started adding some of the sauce. I cooked them at about 250 until they were nearly done, basting them a couple times along the way.
First flip, pre-sauce application
Staring to get some sauce all up in there.
There were a couple shots of the increasingly glazed chicken on the grill, but the gremlins got them and they're gone.
But here's what the final product looked like when I served it up for lunch. My wife was very impressed. She declared wings as our official food to have every 4th of July from now on! Woohoo!
Hey, Happy 4th of July, Americans! God Bless us all!
Thanks for looking in! Hope you enjoyed the view!
