Food Lion has them on sale for 99¢/lb. this week and I had grabbed a few packs for the freezer. Wife asked yesterday if I was cooking supper which I had not planned to do. So thinking what I had on hand that I could do quickly and easily, grilled thighs jumped up the list. So here we go...

Seasoned up with Kinder's Bourbon Peach...

Onto the grill with maple splits. Once up to temp, sauced some with Tuffy's Cherry BBQ sauce. No finished pics, sorry.

Wife made brown rice and I made cream corn and steamed broccoli...

Baked some Walmart frozen biscuits like these...

If you've never tried these biscuits, they are pretty good. I eat sugar free strawberry jelly on mine.

Time to eat...

The corn is fresh that I blanched and froze this summer. Sheila makes the brown rice from a recipe out of a very old cookbook that belonged to her grandmother, but not really anything different than what can be found today. It is a favorite of our son. Broccoli, well it's just steamed, nothing special, but our middle grandgirl loves it...

Nice cook Charles . Can't hardly beat chicken thighs .
Next time you're around Kinders stuff , look for the Cowboy butter seasoning . Good stuff .

It's got my attention Charles. Looks fantastic

Point for sure

Looks great! Thighs are my favorite part of the chicken except for those oysters on the back.

You probably noticed Food Lion also has Boston Butt for 99¢/lb too. I would grab one but trying to clear some freezer space. Stocking freezers is a sickness I have. I have both of mine full and even have stuff next door in my parents freezer! A sickness I tell ya.

I made a note on those biscuits. We're playing a bit loose with the carbs lately and I was going to get some easy-button biscuits. Food Lion also has something called Fricks Biscuit Cut Ham Slices BOGO. I guess its just ham disks? Was going to pick up a pack for the heck of it (see there's that sickness again), comes out to $3.28lb. Not too shabby if the ham is good...not that I need ham right now...but I am a sick man, like I said!

Frick's is a good quality ham. At a reasonable price. One of our grocers sells the Fricks ham steaks and shanks(I think). I haven't been disappointed yet.

Nice looking meal! Thighs are my favorite. Saw the legs and thighs on sale at FL but missed the Pork butt. Going to have to swing by there.

Who would have ever thought that we would by pre-made biscuits in a bag but they are pretty good and you only have to make as many as you want to eat at the time.

NICE SOLID MEAL, GOOD JOB CHARLES! RAY
Thank you, Ray!

Thanks Rich. Haven't seen that one, but will be on the lookout. I usually buy mine at Sam's and the selection does change...
Outstanding looking!

Minus the biscuit that's a weekly meal in our house.
Honestly, I'm not much of a bread eater. I never plan for it in a meal, but others in my zoo have to have bread at every meal and will bring it over. What's left gets left here. That's where the frozen biscuits came from so Sheila baked them. They're as close to homemade as I've ever had. Thank you for the compliment...

Really appreciate that Chris!!
Nice
I haven’t grilled anything for us in weeks. Chicken sounds good
As Chris said, "Slacker!" 🤣🤣 Come on now John, get with it...

Butts aren't on sale at the Food Lions around me. I wish they were because I have a list of sausages to make. Where your ad has butts, mine has baby back ribs for $2.99/lb. Maybe that deal is coming this way soon...😉
I made a note on those biscuits.
They're as close to homemade as I've ever had, give them a try...
That some killer eats Charles! I will be getting some of that Kinders Peach and those biscuits. The last two can ones ended up in the trash.
It's pretty good, Brian. Thanks for the comments, I appreciate that...

Yep, they're good and you only have to cook as many as you need...

I'm not sure. But I do know that Fricks ham is one of the best store bought hams I've had.

Charles,
Have you tried Kinders Bourbon peach BBQ sauce? I'm a big fan of their products. But found it to be too sweet for my taste.

I have tried it, but it was quite awhile ago and don't really remember what I thought of it. Yes, I'm a fan of their products, too. Sam's usually has a good selection...

I love the Kinders stuff , and thought for sure this one would be awesome .
I found it kind of a strange sweetness . I used it yesterday on a meatloaf . I mixed it with some open pit I had . That helped it for me .
